Avocado: The Nurturer

The avocado is the mother fruit. It is the closest food on the planet to breast milk, and has many nurturing qualities.

Even though the skin of most avocados is inedible, it is loaded with hundreds of undiscovered phytochemical compounds, many of which are infused into an avocado’s flesh as it grows. Some of these phytochemicals are isothiocyanates, which are involved with the color of the yellow-green flesh and help restore stomach and intestinal linings.

When you are suffering from digestive disorders of any kind, avocados can come to the rescue.
