Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie Popsicles
These fun pops give you an easy way to get the Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox foods into your child’s diet (or yours!). You might wish to double, triple, or quadruple this recipe so you have plenty of pops on hand ready to go.
This recipe comes from Brain Saver Protocols, Cleanses & Recipes, the companion book to Medical Medium Brain Saver. These two essential books about our most complex organ—the brain—dive deep into why people all over the world are suffering with mental health and brain-related symptoms and conditions. Brain Saver unveils the why behind more than 100 brain- and nervous system–related symptoms, diseases, and disorders; Brain Saver Protocols, Cleanses & Recipes reveals the truth about how to heal in even more detail (including cleanses, recipes, supplement protocols, and so much more).
Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups frozen or fresh wild blueberries or 8oz pure wild blueberry juice
- ½ cup diced mango (optional)
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro
- 1 ½ cups freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tsp barley grass juice powder
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 tbsp Atlantic dulse or 2 dropperfuls Alantic dulse liquid
- 2-3 tbsps raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more raw honey or pure maple syrup.
Pour the mixture into pop molds and freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.
Remove the pops from the molds and enjoy.
Tips:
- This recipe doesn’t use the full amount of the five heavy metal detox foods that is best for removing heavy metals, so if you are using this recipe as an adult, it’s important to include enough of the five heavy metal detox foods listed in Chapter 10, “Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox,” throughout your day in other ways.
- These pops taste great with or without the mango. The mango gives the pops more creaminess, although the taste of the orange juice shines through more without the mango. Try this recipe both ways to discover which version is your family’s favorite.
- If you’re in a part of the world where you can’t access any form of wild blueberries, you can substitute blackberries, although they do not uproot heavy metals.
