Barley Grass Juice Mojito
This delicious mocktail is refreshing and fun to drink, while also providing some incredible nutrients for your health. This mojito uses pure maple syrup instead of high fructose corn syrup, simple syrup, or other refined sugars. The mint and barley grass juice powder bring the rich green color and a plethora of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.
Mojito Barley Grass Drink
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup loosely packed mint leaves, more for garnish
- 1/2 tsp barley grass juice powder
- 2 tbsp maple sugar, maple chunks or maple syrup, more to taste
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 thin lime wedges
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1-2 cups sparkling water
Directions:
Combine the mint, barley grass juice powder, maple sugar, lime juice, and lime wedges in a tall glass. Muddle until the mint is crushed. Fill the glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Serve immediately.
