I Looked The Part But I Didn't Feel Alive
BEFORE MEDICAL MEDIUM…
- I used to run on 800mg of caffeine a day.
- 300mg of coffee to wake up.
- 300mg of pre-workout to train.
- Another 300mg of coffee just to power through my day.
- I called it “energy”—but really, it was anxiety in disguise.
THE WAY I ATE BACK THEN…
- I was eating 225-250g of protein daily.
- 60-70g of fat.
- Lots of processed foods.
- Everything I ate had “natural flavors”—aka hidden MSG.
- It all felt so addictive.
- But inside, I was numb. Inflamed. Disconnected.
STRONG OUTSIDE, SUFFERING INSIDE…
- Sure, I could life a truck.
- But I was silently wrecking my liver and nervous system.
- The more I fueled up, the more my body broke down.
- I looked the part—but I didn’t feel alive.
WHAT IT REALLY FELT LIKE…
- Anxiety. Brain fog. Heart palpitations.
- Blood pressure so high I could feel it in my temples.
- The crash always came—and the cycle started all over again.
THEN I FOUND MEDICAL MEDIUM…
- Little by little, I cut back the protein.
- Lowered the fats.
- Cleansed my system.
- Started listening to my body.
- The inflammation? It faded.
- My clarity came back.
- And my faith deepened.
