Watch: Mint
Mint
Mint is well known for its digestive-aid qualities. What is not known about mint is that it is one of the best replacements for caffeinated teas and beverages. People who are trying desperately to get away from caffeine addiction could benefit greatly by bringing in mint tea on a regular basis. Phytochemical compounds in peppermint, spearmint, and other mint varieties are highly stimulating to some neurons and neurotransmitter chemicals. These phytochemical compounds can stimulate nerve cell receptors that are conditioned to caffeine. In this way, mint tea can suppress the feeling of desperate need for caffeine and minimize caffeine withdrawal.
Mint has a rare plant amino acid profile that battles acidosis caused by poor food choices; low hydrochloric acid; putrefied proteins and rancid fats; a stagnant, sluggish, overburdened liver; a toxic, sludge- filled gallbladder; or colonies of bad bacteria, toxic mold, harmful yeast, unproductive fungus, antibiotic-resistant bacteria such as H. pylori, E. coli, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, C. difficile, or even STD varieties of bacteria such as chlamydia. All of these compromises, including pathogens, cause various kinds of acidosis. As the pathogens living in most people’s bodies in our modern world today fester and grow over time, all through various aspects of the gut, acidosis begins to accumulate and rise up the duodenum into the stomach and even up the esophagus. Mint offers phytochemical properties, amino acids, and trace minerals to buffer the acidosis and help knock down pathogen-created acids.
Mint also helps to improve hydrochloric acid by stimulating gastric glands in the stomach lining.
Mint’s tiny plant fibers find their way into pockets where colonies of bad bacteria thrive inside the gut, clinging onto the pathogens and hindering them from proliferating. Mint helps to cool down internal heat. A hot liver, spleen, pancreas, and/or brain may need cooling and spasm reduction, and mint can aid in this.
Enjoy in tea, infused water, fruit salads, salads, sauces & dressings.
